San Diego

San Diego is on the coast of the Pacific Ocean in Southern California, approximately 120 miles (190 km) south of Los Angeles and immediately adjacent to the border with Mexico.

With an estimated population of 1.42 million as of 2017, San Diego is the eighth-largest city in the United States and second largest in California. The city is known for its mild year-round climate, natural deep-water harbor, extensive beaches, long association with the United States Navy, and recent emergence as a healthcare and biotechnology development center.

The city is the seat of San Diego County and is the economic center of the region as well as the San Diego–Tijuana metropolitan area. San Diego’s main economic engines are military and defense-related activities, tourism, international trade, and manufacturing. The presence of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), with the affiliated UCSD Medical Center, has helped make the area a center of research in biotechnology.

IAE – San Diego, is in the beautiful Downtown by walking distance of the world-famous San Diego Zoo, the immense Balboa Park to the vibrant nightlife of downtown San Diego featuring the Gaslamp Quarter, PETCO Park, as well as numerous art galleries, artist studios, museums, and gardens. A deep harbor is home to a large active naval fleet, with the USS Midway, an aircraft-carrier-turned-museum, open to the public, there’s no shortage of fun and exciting things to do and see. From the miles of scenic San Diego beaches, the underwater adventures at SeaWorld.

IAE San Diego offers English classes every Monday through Thursday. Students attend class for 5 hours each day. Morning sessions: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Irvine

Irvine is a master-planned city in Orange County, California, in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The Irvine Company started developing the area in the 1960s and the city was formally incorporated on December 28, 1971. The 66-square-mile (170 km2) city had a population of 212,375 as of the 2010 census; in 2018 the California Department of Finance estimated the city’s population at 276,176.
A number of corporations, particularly in the technology and semiconductor sectors, have their national or international headquarters in Irvine. Irvine is also home to several higher education institutions including the University of California, Irvine (UCI), Concordia University, Irvine Valley College, the Orange County Center of the University of Southern California (USC), and campuses of California State University Fullerton (CSUF), University of La Verne, and Pepperdine University.

IAE Las Vegas is conveniently located just minutes from the world-famous Las Vegas Strip close to the intersection of W. Sahara Ave. and S. Jones Blvd. A bus stop is easily accessible in front of the school to connect students with Las Vegas’ main source of public transportation.

IAE Las Vegas offers English classes every Monday through Thursday. Sessions: 9:00AM – 2:00PM.

Tampa

Tampa is a city on Tampa Bay, along Florida’s Gulf Coast. A major business center, it’s also known for its museums and other cultural offerings. Busch Gardens is an African-themed amusement park with thrill rides and animal-viewing areas. The historic Ybor City neighborhood, developed by Cuban and Spanish cigar-factory workers at the turn of the 20th century, is a dining and nightlife destination.
